The Rev. Connie Claxton, our Canon Missioner (our connection with the Episcopal Center and the Bishop), presided at The Living Waters worship service in Sauk Centre on Sunday, August , 1998. Given the recent reports from the Lambeth Conference (a international gathering of bishops that happens every ten years) concerning the church's positions on homosexuality, Connie brought a reassuring message to The Living Waters: "Bishop Jelinek has let us know that the resolution of the Lambeth Conference will not change his support of the gay and lesbian people in this diocese."
