EDUCATION FOR MINISTRY

Seeking spiritual growth? Wish you had friends with whom to share your journey and your growth. Try Education for Ministry (EFM) where Christians gather regularly in small groups to pray and study and reflect on God's presence in their lives. New groups begin in the fall. Contact Pat (below) or any EFM member for more information.

OPEN HOUSE

Remember Friday the 13th last August? That's when the west wall at Good Samaritan in Sauk Centre collapsed. The parish of Good Samaritan invites everyone to celebrate their renewal (Re: New Wall ?). In thanksgiving for the generous support of their community and of other churches, there will be an Open House Celebration on Thursday, August 10, 4-7pm. Balloons, organ music, parish members in new "vestments," food, awesome stained glass, fun. Church party!

MERRY CHRISTMAS ! ?

There's been a computer mix up with the church calendar and The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour is going Christmas Caroling on the 24th of August instead of December. Singers and fun-loving evangelists of all ages from other churches are welcome to join parishioners in making a joyful noise all around Little Falls. Easy evangelism -- letting people know that Jesus is born in our lives all year round and that the Episcopal Church is alive and well and celebrating. Caroling at 7:00 pm. Gather at 6:30 for warm up. Contact Pat (below) for details.

BOUNDARY WATERS RETREAT

Escape to the wilderness for spiritual reflection, relaxation, and fun. Women's Retreat, Sept 19-22. Entering from Poplar Lake and setting up base camp on Gaskin Lake. An easy trip, but far enough in for solitude. Cost will vary from $65-95 per camper according to what equipment participants have. Space is limited. Contact Pat (below).
