Seeking growth in your spiritual life? Wanting to know more about scripture and tradition? Education for Ministry is an opportunity to grow, learn, and worship with a small community of Christians. Twice monthly gatherings for nine months of the year; schedule and location according to those interested. Visit an EFM session at Our Saviour's in Little Falls on Thursday, July 29 at 7:00 pm. on Contact Pat (below) for details.
Escape to the wilderness for spiritual reflection, relaxation, and fun. Women's Retreat, June 23-26. Region III's Third Annual Region Wilderness Retreat for the Feast of the Transfiguration, August 4-7. Both trips will enter from Poplar Lake and set up base camp on Gaskin Lake. An easy trip, but far enough in for solitude. Cost will vary from $55-90 per camper according to what equipment participants have. Space is limited. Contact Pat (below) for details.
Region III has a new Dean, Myra King from St. Helen's, Wadena. Not only has Myra been very active in parish, regional, and diocesan events but from her Girl Scout experience, she knows how to organize a great meeting. We can look forward to Region Gatherings that are productive and fun. Congratulations, Myra, and thank you.
Interested people from Spirit of the Heartland parishes or from other congregations wanting to learn more about Total Ministry, are invited for a "field trip" to a working Total Ministry Congregation. On Saturday, , (note date change!) we will visit Trinity, Hermantown (outside Duluth). Staying over for Sunday worship is optional. Contact Pat (below) for details.

Spirit of the Heartland is beginning a licensing program for lay preachers. Lay preachers from other parishes, who have the support of their priest (or canon missioner) and congregation are welcome to be part of the program. Contact Linda Maloney at 320-203-0304.
