Discussion of Pat's new ministry celebration on May 30. In order for everyone to have a part in the service each person will add some water to the baptismal font and be blessed with it. Symbolic gifts will be given to Pat and she will in turn give them to members of the congregations. It will be a celebration focused on the ministry of all the baptized. Connie will officiate as the Bishop's representative.
Pat announced that we received the grant from the diocesan funds. Scholarship money will be available for the "Living the Covenant Conference." It was moved that 5 scholarships be given to Cedar, Johanna, Linda, Cynthia and someone from St. Stephen's, Paynesville. The motion was seconded and passed.
Discussion of the treasurer's position. Ron is willing to try being treasurer and secretary. He was elected unanimously.
Discussion of a picture directory of the participating parishes to help people know each other. There will be a meeting at the Black and White, Little Falls with representatives from each congregation to work on this project, on May 4.

The Committee will be open to anyone. A motion to that was made, seconded and passed. Those on the committee so far are Connie Claxton, Priscilla Gray, Pat Gillespie, Linda Maloney, Johanna Morrigan. Others are welcome to participate.
Pat again encouraged attendance at the New Ministry Celebration May 30, 11:00 AM, Good Samaritan, Sauk Centre. She also reminded people of Bishop Jelinek's visit on July 11.
